This duo is a dialogue between the oboe and the violoncello. I have used the classical form of rhetoric which has been applied to musical structures also before, for example during the Baroque period. This composition is divided into six different parts: Exordium (introduction), Narratio (bringing out the case), Propositio I and II (stressing the opinion), Confutatio (disproving the counter arguments), Confirmatio (strengthening of thesis) and Peroratio (conclusion).

Tämä duo on oboen ja sellon välinen dialogi siinä mielessä, että siinä on sovellettu klassisen retoriikan muotokaavaa, jota on käytetty aikaisemmin mm. barokkimusiikissa. Kappale jakautuu seuraaviin taitteisiin: Exordium (johdanto), Narratio (asian esille tuominen), Propositio I & II (mielipiteen painottaminen/tarkennus), Confutatio (vasta-argumenttien kumoaminen), Confirmatio (teesin vahvistus) sekä Peroratio (lopetus).
